Homosassa Florida-Tuesday June 28th 2005-Jessica Marie Lunsford Foundation Website Published. The Jessica Marie Lunsford Foundation has announced today that it’s website is now available and open to the public.
The website was opened today to provide useful links, information on upcoming events, and an Amber Alert Ticker.

A Foundation spokesman was quoted as saying “This is our first step to accomplishing the goals of the foundation” he went on to say that “Mark Lunsford has been working very hard recently with law makers both in Florida and Washington DC. This foundation not only is a major part of personal healing but part of the healing of our nation. The mission statement of the Foundation is clear and strong ‘Helping Children In Crisis’”. While the Foundation has been lending support to other charities upon approval of the 501C3 application the Foundation will be hosting numerous fundraising activities both locally in North Central Florida and reaching out nationwide.

Mr. Lunsford was quoted as saying “We’ve set up this foundation with the intent to be able to help any child in crisis, no matter what the crisis. We hope that the response to the Foundation is as strong as the outpouring of support my family and I received when Jessica first went missing. We hope to send a clear message to everyone that through legislation, education, and continued support what happened to me does not need to happen to anyone else.”
