There have been a lot of changes to the industry of credit cards over the past few years with the introduction of the CARD act of 2009 and since it was introduced as a way to protect consumers, there has been less of a need for credit cards for bad credit because over the limit fees have been greatly reduced as a result of the act as have penalty fees levied on accounts. The average late fee a few years ago was almost forty dollars and today that amount has dropped to just twenty five dollars.
