Current economic indicators suggest that the United States is enduring a very slow recovery and that although the recession officially ended in 2009, many industries are still trying to catch up. Two industries that are clear indicators of the health of an economy are automobiles and construction and while the automobile industry has made some improvements in strength, the amount of construction working capital in the marketplace today is falling into further debt due to longer payment cycles currently being experienced by the construction industry. Slow decisions made at the federal level have also contributed to a less than swift recovery of construction sectors.
