Although some male hip hop singers are notoriously vocal about their opinions on metrosexual men and do everything they can to look macho, there is an interesting trend in some musical circles these days that has men actually donning women's clothing for performances. Young singer Justin Bieber apparently favors wearing some clothing meant for females during his performances and though the trend doesn't yet have men walking onto the stage in sexy party dresses, it's an interesting new movement in singer clothing nevertheless. Many of the male singers who wear women's clothing on stage do so through purchases of designer labels.

Hollywood starlets are often seen on the red carpet in vibrant colors of gowns and whenever someone makes a statement at a movie premiere wearing a bold color like red or fuchsia there are always comments the next day about how fantastic the actress looked and how brave she was for choosing an eye-catching color. It can be just as bold, however, to choose white for evening dresses since this color can also be a standout in a room that's filled with colors. Some of the most beautiful white dresses these days are reminiscent of the 1970s and feature long, smooth silhouettes.
